Google Alternatives
Right, so Google’s Evil. That’s all well and good. “But,” I can already hear you saying, “the offer sooo many useful services!” Well, that’s certainly true. They do have an impressive repertoire of programs and tools. However, there are other options. There’s not one tool that Google offers that is exclusive to Google. As Randall McCarley of 14thc.com said, “everything Google does has been copied by 40+ other companies.” Well, I don’t know about 40, but McCarley certainly put together a pretty impressive list and has been gracious enough to allow Gevil.org to use it!

Even with all of these alternative services and tools, this list is by no means complete. We will continue to edit and expand this list as we go so be sure to let us know of any that we missed.

Time To Drop Google Adsense ? | WYPOV.com November 2nd, 2007 at 8:32 am
[…] Just been reading an intresting article from BloggingExperiment.com on the reasons why he does not use Google Adsense. To be honest he does have a very good valid arugment (and he had been banned as well). As mentioned in my other post about my total earnings todate http://www.wypov.com/2007/10/31/149/ my Google Adsense totalled = $3.22. I am also using AdBrite and I am now getting a higher click price in relation to the amount of time I have been using them. I am going to replace Google Adsense with AdBrite from now on and I will momitor the difference. Within the artile is also a link to a the Geveil.org website on what to use as alternatives to Google products and services. […]
A WAHM’s Blog » Blog Archive » Google Alternatives Part 2 November 17th, 2007 at 10:09 am
[…] Google Alternatives Part 2 I just found the answer to my own question about alternatives to Google. Gevil.org, one of my new favorite blogs, has a big honkin’ list of Google Alternatives. There are other places to search, get email, blog, and do anything else that you’ve been doing with Google. They may not all be concentrated in the same place, but many of the sites offer multiple services. […]
